Hospice Experience: 12 years
Why did you choose to serve in hospice? Witnessing families choose peaceful, compassionate end-of-life care deeply resonated with me. Under physician guidance, I helped transition patients to hospice, ensuring they passed with dignity, comfort, and loved ones nearby. This inspired me to leave the hospital setting and join a team that supports patients at home in their final days—surrounded by family, pets, and the comfort of familiar stories and spaces.
What do you enjoy most about being a part of the SouthEast Hospice family? I chose to come to Southeast hospice for several reasons to include their reputation in the community is outstanding and I wanted to be a part of a locally owned and operated company. From the first day of my interview, I knew I had made the right decision. All disciplines work together as one unit. I have a true family that is supportive and dedicated to providing the highest quality of compassionate care to patients and their families who are facing a life limiting illness. I am proud and blessed to be a part of the Southeast family.
